The City of Willows is one of 60 statewide recipients of a Caltrans Clean California grant, which overall totaled nearly $115 million.
Willows has been granted $4 million to upgrade, enhance and improve access to Sycamore Park by providing safe access and accessibility to the recreational amenities at the park by adding sidewalks on the north and east sides of the park and greater access on the west side. The grant will fund new lighting and solar facilities.
In addition, the project will provide full connective access from a transit stop approximately 500 yards from the park, upgrade the walking/bike path and tennis courts and install new pickleball courts.
