Law Enforcement

Law enforcement services are provided by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Orland Police Department. Glenn County Search and Rescue is a volunteer team supervised and coordinated by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services works with all County response agencies for disasters and evacuation plans. Emergency Services

Glenn County has an effective collection of emergency service providers with a combination of paid and volunteer staff to serve their communities. In total, Glenn County has 11 fire districts and commissions that serve incorporated cities and unincorporated rural areas alike.

The Glenn County Search and Rescue is a volunteer auxiliary team of the Glenn County Sheriff's Office that partners with deputies to provide technical search and rescue services.
